(CMI) was founded by Duane Cochran with the sole purpose of providing a broad umbrella of refrigeration and construction solutions to Kern County and the surrounding areas. CMI specializes in Industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, construction, design, service, maintenance, and repair of Ammonia and Freon systems. With high quality management and technical skills, CMI is dedicated to see short term, as well as long term, projects to a timely and successful completion.

     Over decades of business, CMI has established successful working contracts with many agricultural and food processing companies in the area. CMI has assisted these companies with developing and implementing objectives and setting performance goals and accountability for “on-time” project completion.
